Hosted UniFi and UISP Network Management
Engineer Austin, a licensed engineering firm in Georgetown, Texas, manages Ubiquiti UniFi and UISP equipment (access points, switches, gateways and wireless links) from servers it runs itself, not from a vendor's cloud and not from a forgotten computer in a back closet. As of October 2026, 378 sites and more than 1,600 devices report to our servers. The service is for businesses that want their network watched, and for small managed service providers (MSPs) and installers who want a professionally run controller without building one.
A controller that is always on and always looked after
- Always-on servers. Your devices report to servers we run, patch and back up, so management does not stop when someone turns off a laptop or a closet PC dies.
- One view of every site. Device status, Wi-Fi health and firmware versions in one place, so a failed access point or a dropped link is visible without waiting for a phone call.
- Remote fixes. Most configuration changes and troubleshooting happen from our office, without a truck roll.
- Firmware on a schedule. Updates are rolled out in scheduled windows with notice, not left to install themselves in the middle of a business day.
- Settings held centrally. Network and Wi-Fi settings live on the server, so a replacement device picks up the site's configuration when it is adopted.
- Wireless links included. Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios on UISP, alongside the UniFi network they feed.
- No per-device cloud subscription. UniFi and UISP equipment carries no ongoing license fee when it is managed from a self-hosted server, so the hardware you bought keeps working without a yearly bill attached.
- Your hardware stays yours. The equipment is your property. Our custom configurations are our intellectual property, licensed for your use while you are a client; if you leave, we release your devices so your next provider or your own controller can adopt them, and remove our access.
For your business, or for your clients
Businesses and organizations
We host and manage your UniFi and UISP equipment as part of our Managed Service Program or a network support agreement: monitoring, firmware, changes and troubleshooting handled by our team, with the documentation delivered to you.
Small MSPs and installers
Install and support your own clients while their sites live on our servers. You keep the client relationship and administer your own sites; we keep the servers running, patched, backed up and reachable, and we are there as an escalation point when you want a second set of eyes.
Lower running costs, same security
Self-hosted management is one of the ways we keep our clients' running costs down without cutting corners. The equipment is bought once, there is no per-device subscription to renew each year, and the servers are run to the same written standard as everything else we manage: patched, backed up, access restricted to our staff and documented.
Run by an engineering firm
Engineer Austin is Texas Registered Engineering Firm F‑15739. The same team designs the networks that report to these servers, under our network engineering, point-to-point wireless and site-wide Wi-Fi services, to house standards set by our licensed Professional Engineer.
How AI speeds this up for you
Device and configuration exports are reviewed with AI assistance in our approval-gated tooling, so firmware gaps, inconsistent settings and offline devices across many sites are spotted faster. A person checks every finding, no change is made without approval, and no client secret is ever pasted into a public AI tool. How we use AI.
Hosted network management, answered plainly
What equipment can you host?
Ubiquiti UniFi access points, switches and gateways on our UniFi Network server, and Ubiquiti UISP equipment, including airMAX wireless radios and switches, on our UISP server.
We already have a controller. Can you move our sites?
Usually, yes. We export your sites from the old controller and adopt the devices on ours, scheduled so Wi-Fi keeps working during the move. If a site cannot be moved cleanly, we say so and plan around it.
Does our Wi-Fi stop if the server is unreachable?
No. Access points and switches keep running on their last configuration; the server is needed to make changes and to see status, not to pass traffic.
We are an MSP. Will our clients see your name?
Your clients are yours. You administer your own sites and support your own customers, and the arrangement between us is set out in writing.
How is it priced?
Hosting is included in our Managed Service Program and network support agreements, and quoted in writing for MSPs and installers based on the number of sites and devices. We do not publish prices.
What happens if we leave?
The equipment is yours. We release your devices so your next provider or a controller you own can adopt them, hand over the inventory and documentation of what is installed, and remove our access. Our custom configurations and rule sets are licensed for use only while you are a client, so the next provider sets up its own.
Start with a written assessment.
Tell us what you have and what is not working. Someone from our team, not a salesperson, replies within one business day by email or phone, and brings in our engineer when your request needs one. The assessment report is yours to keep whether or not you buy anything.
